Linda Gifford

Linda Gifford creates textile designs for interiors inspired by her unique and individual observations of the natural and built environment.

She develops complex, innovative ideas, which reward the viewer with new perspectives and original interpretations of the familiar. They combine both photographic and drawn elements organised into traditional repeats.

After training at Central St Martins, the Surrey Institute and a career in teaching, Linda established her own business initially making highly individual silk paintings. Over the past year, she has developed an extensive range of digital designs, now available as limited edition cushions, canvases, bags and cards.

Linda welcomes commissions. Her original designs can enhance both personal and public interiors responding to individual themes, and moods.
